An Angel

You had an angel here beside you, sent to earth to help and guide you. 
An angel always there for you, sent to love and care for you.
She did the things that angels should,
She taught you what was bad and good,
She gave you hope when no one cared,
She held your hand when you were scared,
She cheered you up when you were down (She could make a smile from a frown),
She doctored you when you were sick, And many another angel trick.
Today your angel earned her wings, her halo, harp and other things.

But today you’re lost and all alone, for today God called your angel home.
